"I’m fairly new to the horror genre, so I didn’t know what to expect with this. Definitely freaked me out! The imagery was good, and the writing is solid. It kept me guessing and worrying most of the story, and at the end, wow. I’ll definitely be looking for more from this author."

"An excellent story by a most promising young writer. Creepy enough to give one the shivers. Wonderful imagery. I did find that the vocabulary is occasionally a bit advanced for the average reader, and that there is an element of foreshadowing in the story that allows one to be pretty sure they know what the ending will be; however, it's well written enough to keep one guessing. Personally, I'd like to see this developed into a full-length novel or novella (or perhaps a sequel?), as I'm left wanting to know more about the antagonist and protagonist and I feel this writer has the skills to give us fully developed characters."
