Untold Things
Some days I wish I were someone else,
or someone else was me,
and we'd compare the feelings felt
about the untold things.
Did you feel this when that was that?
Were you left wondering?
Or is the conflict mine alone....
Do I dream the untold things?
Do I dare to dream at all,
when screaming in my dreams
awakens me
with heart beating—
Pounding,
sounding out the ringing...
So deafening!
Do you feel it too? I ask.
When you are me, or I am you...
Do you?
Do you?
Where are we, that we are where
we said that we would be?
Is this the way that we believed
it should be?
