The Problem With Modern Relationships as Opposed to the Engendering of Flowers

Average Rating

Step outside. I lick

the atmosphere. The breath

around me quivers. I inhale the

wind, get the impression of icicles

mounting on my lungs, and move

to the garden.

Your love is an annual…

I will not survive the frost.

"Heh heh, very nice. Fun title, following soon by a snappy resolution."

"I really think you should rename the poem. While it might be a modern relationship, there is no suggestion what the problem is, what caused the lover not to survive the frost. I enjoyed the poem though. I thought 'I lick the atmosphere' quite original. The descriptive writing did make me feel 'cold.' :) Nice job and thanks for the read."
